Bun in the Oven is deceptively simple, made on a shoestring budget with a lot of head-scratching and some big learning curves, figuring out how to translate baking a cake into an algorithm and a fun experience.

Players could enter their cake’s score into the leaderboard to be in to win a (real) cake from a celebrity chef. But the real value for the client lay in how, via the mobile site, the game pushed players towards the wider charity fundraising campaign and spread the word by sharing the cake on Facebook.
