One of the more diverse pro-bono experiences I’ve had was joining my friends Felix and Gayatri from NowHere Media on one of their annual trips to India, building a long-term story about the work of a child labour NGO in Bangalore that helps children who have to work to sustain their family stand up for themselves against dogmatic police and unscrupulous employers.  Being an extra pair of hands and an extra camera for their storytelling was gratifying personally, and a great learning experience.

Although the longer-form video work hasn’t found a home yet, the footage is in use as they develop a VR experience around this issue.
