Level Water is a charity that gives physically disabled children the opportunity to learn the basics of swimming, so they can join in and enjoy all the social and developmental benefits that an early start in sport can bring.

The brief was to create three films to be used as sales tools for fundraisers (such as triathletes canvassing for sponsorship) which posed an interesting challenge – not quite a documentary, not quite an ad.

The logo I had already designed for them provided inspiration to use chunky typography within the films to help make key points. Being a very low-budget project, I wrote, directed, produced and edited the films, though happily with some help filming and grading from talented and generous people I have gotten to know in London.
